WE:

• were on the road for 10 weeks
  
• spent $800 on gas
  
• listened to 350 Greatful Dead songs (at least 10 times each)
  
• went through 31 of the States
  
• took 19 showers and one bath (2 a week is NOT bad)
  
• sent 140 postcards and letters (you're welcome friends and family) :)
  
• viewed 65,000 different VW vans for Allen before we finally left him at a gas station in Northern California.

  We saw lots of birds, buffalo, elk, and seals, but most of all, we saw these guys. In huge herds and in random groups. Some were on open ranges, others where the stand on the road and make you wait for and them (and ALL their friends) to cross. They grow on you though, and I thought I would pay a little tribute to them before I eat my next hamburger. :P
