For years Ada and I planned on doing something after high school. We knew there was no way we could just take off for college and get stuck prostrate to the higher mind for another four years without a break! So by the time we hit graduation it had been decided that we would hold off school for a semester and spend a few months traveling the country. After a long summer of work (and a little play, of course), Ada's eighteenth birthday, and a minor run in with the law, we threw all our worldy possesions in the back of the van and went!
